Hunter Water Corporation

Eo Design was awarded the contract by Buidlcorp after a competitive tender process to supply and install the audiovisual solution for Hunter Water’s new headquarters. One of the challenges was the aggressive construction time frame that required dynamic and responsive project management skills. Eo Design’s Project Director, Sasha Paceskoski personally managed the implementation and his installation team delivered on time without compromising quality and attention to detail.

The installation consisted of motorised projection systems in numerous meeting rooms and a fully automated video conference boardroom. A Polycom VXS 7000 video conference system was integrated with a 65” Panasonic Plasma screen and Sanyo Pro wide screen video data projector. The system is controlled by an AMX 8.4” wireless colour touch screen and processor. Audio system utilises high quality ceiling flush mounted Electrovoice EV iD speakers and Dynacord power amplifier.

Meeting and training rooms use smaller AMX 5” wall mounted colour touch screen and Bi-Amp Nexia audio DSP processing for room equalisation and combining.

Energy Saving 40” and 52” LCD screens were installed in the training rooms where longer “on” times are employed. The end result, another happy Eo client!

The Australian Department of Defence

The Australian Department of Defence appointed Eo Design to design and install audiovisual systems for the Defence College Executive meeting rooms and training rooms. Eo Design specified zero halogen, non PVC flame retardant “green” cable along with eco friendly low energy, low heat amplifiers, display systems and energy efficient LED lighting. Pictured below is the Executive Conference Room with Eo Lighting’s MR16 halogen lamp replacements, model 506C.

When the boardroom was in use, the previous lamps were consuming over 600watts of power. Eo lamps have reduced this down to 66watts. Sean Thompson head of AV for the College is delighted with the end result.
